ANDMORE Announces Atlanta Next Growth Initiative
Atlanta Next is a multi-stage capital and strategic investment plan that will transform the AmericasMart® Atlanta business through enrichment of all categories and improvements to all buildings. ANDMORE announces a total redesign of the Building 1 lobby to open for the Winter 2021 Market and that Phase 1 of the plan will include remerchandising of the home décor and open daily resources and strategic coordination with the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) to present the Southeast’s dual-venue, comprehensive design destination.
AmericasMart and ADAC Create the Ultimate Shopping Destination
The official launch of the partnership between AmericasMart and the ADAC begins with the successful staging of the first-ever dual-venue design market combining Fall Design Week and DISCOVER ADAC. Together, the sister centers showcase 500+ resources and presented 33 seminars, tours, gatherings and celebrations to thousands of designers, retailers and design enthusiasts.
Repositioning Building 1 Open Year Round Resources
Atlanta Next initiative makes its first impact with the repositioning of Open Year Round home décor resources to five contiguous floors in Building 1. Immediately following the January Markets, ANDMORE breaks ground on the Building 1 lobby renovation project.
New Lifestyle Destination in Building 2
Phase 2 of ANDMORE’ Atlanta NEXT initiative sees the creation of a lifestyle destination in Building 2 and continued movement of resources to improve the overall buying experience including relocations of gift brands throughout Building 2, relocations of key home décor brands from Building 2 to Building 1 and new and expanded home décor showrooms.

Pardon the dust, but our physical transformation is taking shape.

If you haven’t been to campus in a while, you’ll notice some exciting changes as part of Atlanta Next, a multi-stage capital and strategic investment plan that began in 2019 with the goal of transforming the AmericasMart business through enrichment of all categories and improvements to all buildings in our 7.2 million square foot campus in downtown Atlanta.

New Building 1 Lobby and Arrival Experience

The most visible of the Atlanta Next enhancements is the Building 1 Lobby and arrival experience. During the first phases of this project, the floor and elevator banks were raised to bring the entire lobby on to one level. A wide staircase and escalator bay now bring you up from the Portman Boulevard entrance where a new registration lobby awaits.

The Peachtree Street entrance is now a multistory lobby experience as a wide entryway welcomes you in and a convenient escalator whisks you up to the new Registration hub on Floor 2.

New Casual Furniture Destination

In preparation for the relocation of the International Casual Furnishings Association’s (ICFA) markets to Atlanta in Summer 2023, the lower floors of Building 1 have been redesigned into an all-new buying experience for the casual furnishings industry. This new collection features spacious, modern showrooms of design-driven outdoor living brands on Floors 2-5 which are open year-round. Floor 7 offers an additional floor of dedicated space for temporary exhibits during Casual Market Atlanta in July.
