Las Vegas Apparel Momentum Continues at Summer 2022 Edition

LAS VEGAS APPAREL MOMENTUM CONTINUES

AT SUMMER 2022 EDITION

 

Las Vegas – August 17, 2022 – International Market Centers’ (IMC) third installment of Las Vegas Apparel recorded its largest-ever edition, tripling in size to offer 150+ brands across apparel and accessories categories for both returning and first-time buyers to the Downtown Las Vegas Fashion Week destination, August 7 – 10, at the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas.

 

“The growth trajectory of Las Vegas Apparel has been spectacular," said Caron Stover, IMC senior vice president, apparel. “Ever-increasing numbers of buyers and brands appreciate the opportunity for both networking and order writing in an intimate, easy-to-shop setting.”

Las Vegas Apparel drew a diverse geographic audience, with retailers from 44 states and Puerto Rico, as well as 9 international countries. This third edition saw a high number of first-time visitors to the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, giving buyers access to a wealth of new business opportunities.

 

Michael Shin of Timing, who has exhibited at Las Vegas Apparel since its debut in August 2021, said, “Everybody that comes here is a serious customer.  As more buyers find out about the show and how easy it is to shop, the show keeps growing. Every day has been getting better and better.”

 

First-time Las Vegas Apparel exhibitor, Emilee Berthiaume of My Girl in L.A., added, “We've been able to reach buyers here that we wouldn't have seen at other markets where we exhibit.”

 

Las Vegas Apparel retailers welcomed the opportunity to conduct necessary and intentional order writing for the season ahead in a relaxed, intimate and amenity-filled environment.

 

Retailer Millinean Lawrence of Boop De Doop Boutique in Nashville, TN, who has attended Las Vegas Apparel since its first edition, said, “There are great vendors at Las Vegas Apparel, the market is laid back which is unlike other shows where it's such a hustle and bustle. This one is the best apparel market there is.”

 

Beyond exhibits, Las Vegas Apparel offered buyers and brands a full slate of onsite amenities, including daily complimentary breakfast, coffee, lunch and cocktails.  At-market events and activities included an opening day market party, photo ops in the registration lobby and branded Las Vegas Apparel giveaways upon arrival.

First-time attendee Kimmy’s Boutique in Waxahachie, TX, added to the market positivity on Instagram with a post about the first-time buyer experience: “We really enjoyed attending Las Vegas Apparel and appreciate how accommodating the show is to buyers. We will be back.”
