Starting now, any downtown hotel reservation booked through AmericasMart’s OnPeak housing services and cancelled within 90 days of Market will be charged an amount equal to one night’s room and tax.
Why are we adopting this new policy?
To ensure that you and other market attendees choosing to stay at downtown-area hotels have access to the rooms you need, when you need them. The policy has been unanimously endorsed by the Gift & Home Furnishings Advisory Board, which represents the interests of AmericasMart’s global customer base. It will help contain and minimize the growing number of last-minute room cancellations at close-proximity hotels. Those cancellations negatively impact the number of downtown hotel rooms we can continue to secure at pricing advantageous to you.
