Atlanta Apparel Runs October 10 – 14 at AmericasMart Atlanta

 

ATLANTA – September 7, 2023 – The October edition of Atlanta Apparel is set to showcase the newest trends coming for Spring/Summer 2024 market across top October sourcing categories – resort, shoes and new  – alongside hallmark market events and amenities, October 10 – 14, 2023, at AmericasMart Atlanta.

New and Expanded Resources Showcase Next Season 

For its October edition, Atlanta Apparel will showcase over 3,150 brands across permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits, presenting the newest designs, with emphasis on top categories for the Spring/Summer ’24 season: resort, shoes and new products.

Trend Education and Market Events  

Trend installations, education and market events will inspire buyers at the season break market this October.

Curated category lounges, each with a giveaway event during the market, will focus on top categories for October buying: accessories, shoes and Spring/Summer 2024 trends. The accessories lounge on Floor 3 will present a custom choker bar at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday; the Spring/Summer ’24 lounge on Floor 5 will host Freya Drohan, Fashion Director of The Daily Front Row, for an intimate, exclusive trend session followed by “Barrettes and Babes,” an interactive event with custom hair clips and amenities on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.; and the shoes lounge on Floor 4 will host a Matisse-sponsored “Sliding Into Spring” shoe giveaway at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. 

The hallmark Atlanta Apparel Block Party will celebrate the new Spring/Summer ’24 season, Wednesday, October 11, with live music, food trucks, outdoor games and sponsored giveaways starting at 6 p.m. On Thursday, October 12, at noon, market participants can stop by the Mid-Market Soiree to network over custom cocktails and a t-shirt embroidery station, sponsored by Timing/Lumiere. From Wednesday – Thursday, buyers also can take part in the Bara Boheme permanent jewelry station

Additionally, buyers can seek inspiration from two trend installations: Spring/Summer 2024 and Summer in Georgia, featuring trending looks coming for the next season – both on a broader scale and regionally – in the Building 3 Floor 2 registration lobby throughout the market. 

Atlanta Apparel will host daily new buyer orientation sessions led by Sarabeth Jackson, ANDMORE Director of Buyer Services for apparel, Tuesday through Friday at 8:30 a.m.  Other daily amenities include free breakfast, happy hours and more.  

Showrooms run Tuesday, October 10 – Friday, October 13, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and temporary exhibits run Wednesday, October 11 – Thursday, October 12, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday, October 13, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Showrooms are open on Saturday, October 14 by appointment only.
