Three IMC Apparel Events Combine to Make August Atlanta Sourcing Event Largest of the Year

ATLANTA – June 29, 2022 – International Market Centers (IMC) is set to engage the entirety of AmericasMart Atlanta Building 3 this August with the overlap of three apparel sourcing markets — Atlanta Apparel, World of Prom & Social Occasion and VOW Bridal & Formal Atlanta — offering access to 850+ permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits, August 1 – 6.


“August is the time for our buyers to source a bit of everything: Holiday, Immediates, Resort, Children’s, Prom, Bridal and more,” said Caron Stover, IMC senior vice president, apparel. “All 14 floors of AmericasMart Atlanta Building 3 will be open for business and both buyers and exhibitors are ready for Atlanta’s largest apparel sourcing event of the year.”


August Atlanta Apparel: Exhibitors Events & Amenities


For its August edition, Atlanta Apparel will present over 1,500 brands in over 400 temporary exhibits and 450 permanent showrooms across general apparel and accessories with a seasonal focus on Holiday, Resort and Children’s categories. Beyond exhibits, the August edition will feature education, parties and buyer amenities to complement the market experience. 


A number of notable exhibitors across key August categories — Holiday, Resort and Mommy & Me — will showcase their lines at Atlanta Apparel. Atlanta Apparel’s curated category lounges on floors 3, 4 and 5 will correspond with these key categories. Holiday exhibitors this August include: Crave Candle Company; Beauty Stash LLC; Headbands of Hope; TRVL Design by ID Accessories INC.; Taylor Shaye Designs LLC; TELETIES and Hustle + Heart. Exhibitors showing Resort include: Gretchen Scott DesignsMichelle McDowellSmith & QuinnAmerica & Beyond LLC and Charleston Shoe Co. Children’s exhibitors include: Johnnie-OPAZ RodriguezLullabuy SetMayoralAppaman; Magnetic Me; and Little English


Hallmark Atlanta Apparel events and amenities also are among highlights this August. Education includes speaker Paula Ersly, head of social strategy at Acadia, discussing social media in a session titled, “Hacking the Algorithm,” on August 2 at 10:30 a.m. 


Events include a market kickoff party featuring a Live Model Presentation showcasing 10 trends on August 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the Atrium of Building 3. Attendees also can take part in Mid-Day Soirée events to take a break, network and learn.

Atlanta Apparel’s 450+ general apparel showrooms are located on 6 floors in AmericasMart Building 3: Floor 6 (fine jewelry), Floor 7 (immediate resources), Floor 8 (accessories and shoes), Floor 9 (women’s apparel), Floor 11 (women’s apparel), and Floor 13 (children’s apparel, accessories and shoes).

AmericasMart Atlanta’s bridal, formal and social occasion floors showcasing World of Prom & Social Occasion and VOW Bridal & Formal will offer over 150 individual collections as well as market-enhancing events, education and experiences.

Beyond exhibits, education and events include Bites & Insights sessions offering the newest social occasion industry information Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at noon in the Floor 15 Fashion Theatre. Buyers and brands also can enjoy the opening day party and runway show, showcasing 80+ looks across bridal, formal and social occasion, August 2 at 6:00 p.m., in the Fashion Theatre. 


To add to the bridal and social occasion sourcing experience, attendees can visit the Style Studio, sponsored by Pageant Planet, on Floor 14 for a happy hour and a visit by Miss Georgia 2022, Holly Haynes, on Wednesday, August 3 at 3:00 p.m.. A trend installation featuring the latest in social occasion also will be on display in the registration lobby of Building 3.
