Formal Markets Announces Upcoming Mon Cheri Academy Events
RSVP Open for Online and In-Person Sessions
ATLANTA – February 1, 2024 – Following a successful educational series kick-off in January, ANDMORESM Formal Markets and Mon Cheri Academy have opened registration for the February 19 and March 4 virtual programs as well as the April 8 in-person event. Buyers who participate in the first-quarter sessions are qualified to win a free hotel night for the April edition of Formal Markets in Atlanta.
“We’re so excited to partner with Mon Cheri Academy, the premier bridal and formal educational program for buyers and sellers, to provide the industry with monthly opportunities to learn,” said Caron Stover, ANDMORE SVP, apparel. “Whether online or in-person, we’re committed to giving buyers actionable information they can use before, during and after markets, to build better business.”
Topics for the 60-minute webinars are “How to Drive Traffic Into Your Store” with Steve Lang, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. EST, and “How to Know What Styles You Are Missing” with Nayri Kalayjian and Steve Lang, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Registration for the virtual and in-person sessions and a link to the recording of the January session, “Why must you go to market? Get educated on how to get a return on inventory investment- you cannot afford to stay home. How to close at least 75% of your customers,” are live now at https://www.atlanta-apparel.com/ MCA.
“We saw a strong start with our first virtual event, with scores of buyers eager to learn how to be more savvy retailers. In fact, I have been on Zoom and telephone almost daily with stores that have implemented trainings from our first session, that are already enjoying success closing more sales. We are looking forward to our next session February 19. They recognize the value of the Mon Cheri Academy program and know that to get the real impact of this material, they’ve got to come in person to Atlanta in April or to Las Vegas in August,” said Steve Lang, CEO of Mon Cheri Bridals. “At those markets, we’ll give them a full day of learning plus meals and drinks, so they can truly focus on enriching themselves before they start their buying.”
As an added benefit, Mon Cheri Academy virtual attendees are automatically entered into a hotel night giveaway for the April edition of Formal Markets in Atlanta, April 9 – 11. Buyers must attend the live virtual sessions in January, February or March to qualify. Each virtual session attended counts for one entry, and each buyer may have a maximum of three entries.
